Hilleberg Kaitum 2 GT Tent – 2 Person, 4 Season

The Hilleberg Kaitum 2 GT provides an outstanding balance of light weight, superb comfort and high strength. Backcountry users of all types backpackers, paddle and bicycle tourers, hunters, winter campers, ski tourers, and climbers, among others opt for the Kaitum 2 GT when their trips demand the increased space and flexibility the extended GT vestibule affords. While adding very little weight, that larger vestibule offers considerably more space for both gear storage/sorting and food preparation. The extended GT vestibule also has two entrances, one on the side and one up front, on the opposite side, offering both more entry/exit options. And by rolling back the front section of the extended vestibule, you create a full tent-width covered porch deep enough to keep all but the worst weather away from the inner tent door. And taller users will find the Kaitum 2 GT’s plentiful floor space, vertical entrances, and vertical walls a roomy pleasure.

Features of Hilleberg Kaitum 2 GT Tent:

  • Kerlon 1200 outer tent fabric and 9 mm poles make for a very lightweight yet supremely stable tent
  • All season construction: outer tent walls extend to the ground and mesh areas are backed with adjustable fabric panels
  • Tunnel construction offers maximum weight ratio and is the ideal choice for mobile journeys
  • Linked but separable inner and outer tent for simultaneous pitching
  • Tunnel design requires only four pegs for pitching, and the simple, single-opening, continuous sleeve and pole tensioner pole system is quick to pitch and remarkably stable
  • Dual entrances ensure that one door can always be situated out of the wind and provide flexible entry/exit options
  • One standard and one vestibule afford even more gear storage and comfort
  • The outer and inner tents can be used separately. Pitching inner tent alone requires six optional pole holders (Sold Separately)
  • Guy lines on the vestibule went hoods and looped guy lines affixed to twin attachments on each side of each pole increase stability in poor conditions
  • Large flaps protect zippers from the rain
  • Adjustable vents on each vestibule can be closed with snow-proof panels. Accessible from inside or outside of the tent
  • High bathtub floor keeps out ground water
  • 4 integrated storage pockets
  • Full no-see-um mesh on inner tent doors are covered by zipper adjustable, fabric panels for all-season comfort
